tina.callahan got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Delaware State Climate Logo

The ODSC (Office of the Delaware State Climatologist) ... may be changing name to Delaware Climate Office (DCO) makes Delaware specific weather and climate related data and information accessible to the the State of Delaware and its citizens through its web page, media interviews, monthly publications and through other extension activities. We serve as researchers, advisors, and educators and provide access to data, graphs, maps, and general information climate impacts. Our website: http://climate.udel.edu/
We are interested in having a logo that is simple, but captures our work with meteorology, climate, and water (coastal environment). We would like to have a logo that can stand alone or have ODSC attached when needed. Ultimately, it would be good to align with the logo of our parent Center: http://cema.udel.edu/images/cema2logo-150.png The current logo (which is too busy and literal) is located here: http://www.climate.udel.edu/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/climate_logo.png In general, lean more toward - land is agriculture-based (mostly corn or wheat) - clouds, wind, and precipitation (rain or snow) for the sky, and (showing weather and storm impacts) - ocean, tides, ripples for the water, (we are a coastal state and deal with flooding and sea level rise) - for other inspiration outside of those just a more connection to "climate" but leaning more towards blues.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
