CSTAR stands for Customer Service Technical Assistance and Repair. It is an acronym where the Customer comes first! Designer's choice if they want to hyphenate. For example, C-STAR or CSTAR are both worth evaluating. We provide service for surgical medical devices that require routine maintenance and upkeep to ensure they are constantly in top working condition. The pursuit of this is called "uptime" - making sure the equipment is always ready to perform at its optimal levels. Target audience is the Biomedical Engineer inside a hospital or healthcare institution. These individuals are responsible for keeping all equipment in top working order for the entire hospital. They are constantly stressed and need a service partner like us with a program they can rely on so their equipment they purchase from us is always in top working order. They are the primary contact between the hospital and the medical device manufacturers during service events. These individuals are male between 45-55 years of age, with 10 years of industry experience under their belts. Summary: The BioMedical Engineer is responsible for keeping all capital equipment in top working condition at all times. This is a new brand being developed for Zimmer's Surgical medical device division based in Dover Ohio. The current web site is www.service.zimmer.com.
