One Handspun Day is a web-based business that offers do-it-yourself (DIY) resources to brides that are planning to handcraft decor elements for their wedding event. Resources include print-at-home paper goods (ie. invitations, favor labels, ceremony programs) and style guides for pre-designed weddings with DIY instructions. Each of the pre-designed weddings contains high quality handcrafted elements to make the event feel personal without sacrificing professional results.

Target Audience: women (engaged to be married) that want to create a special and personal wedding event that is unique and tasteful. They are comfortable shopping online and use wedding blogs and websites as primary resources in planning their wedding. They are drawn to brands such as Anthropologie (and are likely browsing BHLDN for bridesmaid dresses) and smaller 'indie' companies.
Please note that although this is currently a wedding business, we plan to expand our product line to include other events so we do not want the logo to have traditional wedding symbols.
One Handspun Day is a creative brand that has an eclectic aesthetic with a hint of quirkiness. We love small unexpected details that are subtle but have a big impact. We also love to turn everyday materials into something beautiful or to use them in new ways. We like to think of ourselves as the goddess Persephone in Spring - dancing through a drab world with fields of flowers shooting up from our footsteps. Except our flowers are made of paper, chiffon, and anything else we can get our hands on.
Our tagline is "one day. your day. handspun." and we would be open to having it incorporated into the logo design but do not need for it to be.
