BookScouter
BookScouter.com helps people find the best place to sell their books. It compares prices from 30+ different book-buying websites so that college students, small book retailers, and others can get the best deals when selling their books.
Users are divided into two main groups.
1- College students who have finished classes for the semester and want to get a fair price for their book (instead of selling it back for virtually nothing to the campus bookstore)
2- Small book businesses who buy used books and sell for a profit. They may buy books from library sales, estate sales, yard sales, thrift stores, etc. They are looking for under priced books that they can turn around and resell.
Be creative. I don't really have anything in mind. The existing website will be completely redone, so there is no need to mimic anything on it.
The logo will need some element that can be used as an iPhone app icon (ie: fit within a square)
The logo may be something that conveys finding a good deal, but not with the use of dollar signs. However that may not be necessary.
