Logo types to explore
This is our current logo: http://essay101.com/ It's stale, old and forgettable. We want something fresh, modern and memorable. We hope to redesign our website to be a clean, modern website that is easy to use for students and clients. Something like this: http://www.verbalizeit.com/ We do not necessarily want to stick with the graduation cap, since we may be expanding our business. We are open to the use of checks, pluses (symbols of quality), or symbols related to writing and education as long as they are incorporated purposefully and tastefully. Sample logos: Dislike: Scribendi: http://www.scribendi.com/ The blue color is nice and conveys professionalism and trust; however, the logo itself is too formal in terms of font and the style of the quill. We are targeting test prep companies, translation services, and students looking to have their SAT and college admissions essays critiqued. Dislike: Spi Global: http://www.prof-editing.com/ This design seems disconnected. I also have no idea what the significance of the infinity? Sign is. Dislike: Editage: http://www.editage.com/manuscript-editing-services This one is too childish and not as professional. Dislike: EssayEdge: https://www.essayedge.com/ This one is our primary competitor and is too boring Like: Elite Editing: https://www.eliteediting.com/ This one is a bit more edgy than what I'm looking for and is targeting businespeople as opposed to students and parents. However, I like that it is modern and simple. Like: Study Bulb: http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/30443 Simple but interesting Like: Verbalize it: http://www.verbalizeit.com/about-us/ I like this logo because it is clean, simple and intuitive] Okay: Top Admit: http://www.topadmit.com/ I like this color scheme a lot, but I don’t want to copy it, since they are a competitor.
