Generations Alliance helps improving intergenerational communication and collaboration through initiation of higher involvement of youth into lives of senior adults, first-hand life-story sharing by the senior generation and support of elderly care institutions. The project’s flagship programme includes annual international contests of life stories about family seniors (grandmas and grandpas) shared by children; joint activity arrangement between seniors and children with creation of places that folks of all ages call home because they recognize the benefits of intergenerational programs, practice, policies, and services. Target audiences include all generations with focus on youth and seniors, voluntees, social and charity institutions, sponsors and government authorities.
