It was a pleasure working with this artist. Everything we asked for was done great. Thank you so much.
I had a great designer who was very creative and easy to work with!
She was awesome so helpful, and patient. I was in and out due to having a baby and then complications. Zsuka was so helpful and understanding. Awesome designer! I have used her multiple times and will continue too. Thank you Zsuka!
How megan.l.strom started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Ksanka RD, Kootenai NF OR Ksanka
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are an employees association working for the Forest Service. This is not an official government logo. We live and play in Eureka, Montana (USA) which is located in the northwestern corner of the state in a remote forested (western larch, Douglas-fir, ponderosa pine, western white pine) area with a large reservoir and many lakes. We are in the midst of the Rocky Mountains and have LOTS of great wildlife, including grizzly bears, big horn sheep, wolves, rocky mountain elk, moose, mountain lions, eagles, loons, and rainbow trout. We also have many historic cabins and fire lookouts. Our goal is to design a logo that is representative of the outdoor environment we work in (recreation, forestry, wildland fire, archeology, fisheries, hydrology, wildlife) for our employees.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

This logo will typically be embroidered or silk-screened on clothing apparel, hats, bags, and other keepsake items. It will not be used as advertisement.
Ksanka is the name of our Ranger District (RD) on the Kootenai National Forest (NF). It is a Kootenai American Indian word for standing arrow (vertical arrow with arrowhead in the ground).
Our employees feel that the following items are representative of the Ksanka RD - Therriault pass, Lake Koocanusa, Ksanka peak, conifer trees, lakes, local wildlife. We have attached some pictures of the local landscape for your inspiration.
