We awarded a winning design to yohpej in Jan 2014. Yohpej initial designs made it clear to us that he thoroughly understood our brief. Although other designers provided a large number of different designs, recognizing that we liked his initial design Yohpej stuck with it and made small adjustments based on our comments, ultimately producing the final winning design. Working with Yohpej was easy and his response was always quick and accurate.

We do no want our slogan included into the logo.

o We specialize in providing a wide range of accounting, tax and financial consulting services to individuals, closely-held businesses and not-for-profit organizations. We have served several generations of families and their businesses, helping them adapt to ever-changing business conditions.
o At WellsColeman, we pride ourselves on close working relationships with our clients. Since our founding in 1945, we’ve grown into one of the leading accounting and consulting firms in the Richmond area.
o We’re a solid, financially conservative, firm with over 70 years of history in Richmond that prides itself in being proactive, forward thinking trusted advisors (message: solid conservative foundation, yet progressive and adaptive to the ever changing needs of our clientele)
o Our target audience is closely held small to medium sized businesses and high wealth individuals in the Richmond Area.
o We want our logo to express confidence, trustworthiness, sophistication and “freshness”
o Our core values are: Culture, accountability, relationships, and excellence (which make the acronym “CARE”).

o We would like to consider a “signature image” within our logo that can stand alone and look good with the logo (a compass?)
o Attached in the next question, you will see our current logo. The things we do not like about it are: too plain, too big, uneven spacing, too long, and too old.
o Attached in the next question, you will see a logo from a different accounting firm. We DO NOT like this logo. It is too abstract.
o Also, attached in the next question, is an example of a design we recently received and we thought they were too “elementary” and “clip artish”. (This image will be uploaded from an adobe file).
