Who are you known as?
Stephen Olwell Optician
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a small, family-run opticians (optometrist) practice in a medium-sized town in Ireland.
We provide eyecare, (ie eye examinations, spectacles, contact lenses, etc) at all price levels, in a friendly, approachable atmosphere.
Our target audience is adults from 20 - 100 who are price conscious but enjoy great service.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We would like a logo that incorporates a symbol suggestive of an eye, eyes or spectacles. This could be separate to the name or incorporated somehow into the name.
We want to make it obvious at a glance that we are an opticians practice. We would like something clean and unfussy. We need the font to be instantly readable.
Our new colour scheme inside the practice is silver and teal, and if possible we would like to continue this through the logo. However we also like the look of clean 'black & white'.
We are conscious of not appearing too upmarket and expensive, so a logo that is somewhat fun and playful may help. However nothing too cartoonish or childish please. We also don't want anything overly complicated.
For the past 5 years we have been part of an optical chain, however we have recently emerged as an independent practice so we want to reinforce our individuality and professionalism while retaining our affordability and friendliness.
