Create a stunning logo for a boutique hotel in the Maldives

The logo is for a small family-owned and run hotel (20 rooms) in the Maldive islands. Situated in a small fishing village, the hotel targets tourists who are not only interested in enjoying the natural beauty of the islands, but also in thoroughly immersing themselves in the local culture. We want the logo to capture the hotel’s idyllic setting, but more importantly, we want it to convey what makes the hotel distinct, that is, its support for arts and culture. Our artist-in-residence program, which will host foreign as well as local artists, will help build links between aspiring and established artists of all ages, and help foster a deeper appreciation of local art. We plan to host art receptions and showcase arts and crafts on our premises, primarily in our dining room and reception area. We would like for the logo to have as its centerpiece a hermit crab (which you will see in the attached photos). These giant hermit crabs live along the beach just a few steps from the hotel. Artistic takes on hermit crabs are most welcome! We would like for the logo to be simple and modern.

I'd like to explore the following colors: Reds: Energy, action, passion and love. Purples: Imagination, spirituality, royalty and luxury. Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.
