HiVsTeRs VIC is a Melbourne based, secret facebook / social group for HIV positive people of ANY age or gender, who is looking for a way to stay in touch with other likeminded people, for social events, support, group outings etc. but most importantly to build lasting friendships and share the upside of being a Person Living with HIV (PLHIV) today. Here we share laughter, event notifications, life’s ups and downs or even just a post when you’re hitting the dancefloor and need some mates to hang with. The group also encourages activism, to improve the lives of PLHIV and to fight the stigma that still exists within some communities.

The name HiVsTeRs suit this group as it is Melbourne based. Melbourne is known for its diverse community of hipsters, ethnicities and street art. It is multi / cultural hub with a very European feel. We'd like the logo to be colourful, try and incorporate these aspects, friendship, graffiti, hipsters etc. We need to be careful to ensure the logo stays somewhat non gender specific also as we are open to male, female and trans members and would like them all to feel represented.
Target audience: Men and women who are 30+, HIV positive, social people.
Where will they see this: On our secret group wall as a logo and when they receive notifications. It will also be used when we attend campaigns and on merchandise used during activism events.
