How m.wong started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Kahii@364. Leaning towards no space between the words at this stage
What’s your company slogan?
Espresso, Cold drip, Tea, Japanese bites. Not 100% sure if there is room to have any of these words incorporated into the logo however.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a boutique, Japanese inspired coffee bar in the CBD area in Australia, offering high end espresso and cold drip coffee, tea and food with a Japanese twist.
Customers will be an affluent crowd looking for a quality food and drink with efficient service for takeaway or a small seating area for dine in customers. The interior will be minimal, modern and Japanese themed.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We are thinking for the logo to be black and white and clean/sleek to match the concept and shop interior. In terms of incorporating an illustration into the logo we are considering either of the following:
1) the café entrance, which has 2 large wooden black doors. Company name to be incorporated. Open to using some key words in the logo. E.g. espresso, cold drip, tea, Japanese bites etc.
2) cold press coffee apparatus or jug being used to pour coffee. Possibly having a hand/s holding the apparatus/jug . Would consider logo illustration having a tied bandana (the kind you see someone wear in a Japanese restaurant) to tie in with a Japanese inspiration but not sure if this would make the illustration too busy.
