We are a department of a county government.
The Division of Stormwater Management was created in 2006 to establish an Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control (EPSC) program as mandated by the Clean Water Act, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Kentucky Division of Water. This program was established to promote the health, safety, and welfare of Warren County citizens by preventing the pollution, impairment or destruction of its natural resources.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

We would like the logo to incorporate elements of water.
Stormwater is created when water reaches the surface of the earth. The water then picks up a variety of pollutants (soil, oil, gas, litter, animal excrement, etc.) and carries it into water bodies, impairing the water quality.
We work with local schools, civic organizations, and builders to prevent the pollution of stormwater. We want our logo to give us strong brand recognition, so when people see it they understand what it's about and will remember when they see it again.
The logo will be printed on a variety of materials, from tshirts to rain gauges to pet waste bag dispensers, so it needs to be able to be clear when printed as a 1" screen print or on a large banner.
Our new website is warrencountyky.gov/stormwater.
We have attached what we are currently using as our logo, which is a county seal. The small text makes it impossible to print on items requiring a small logo, and isn't attractive or memorable.
