About our company/product:
Existing audience response companies are old-fashioned, and their products are clunky and expensive. We offer a drastically cheaper, simpler, and easier to use product. We'd like that to be reflected in our logo.
Students use our product to answer questions from their teacher by holding sheets of paper in the air (next to them, over their head, etc.). Each paper has a checkerboard-like pattern on it.
Visit our website at plickers.com or our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Plic…4003380875 for more information about our product/service. Don't let the site's design influence our logo - it's only temporary.
About our logo:
We're attracted to logos (favorites attached) with these attributes (more or less in order of importance):
2. Two or three colors
3. Has a unique, memorable, and iconic symbol that could almost be substituted in place of the name; can be recognized on its own.
4. Playful, but not cartoony. Logos like Twitter and Skype feel too cartoony, where as logos like yelp and fring we like a lot.
5. No background color
6. Says something about our product/service
Also, we're not attached to any particular color scheme. And capitalization (Plickers / plickers) is up to you.
