- Cross the Lime
We worked together to design an akita mascot for our company, Akita. Gila was very patient and accommodating with our requests for changes and after a few weeks of back and forth, we finally emerged with an extremely cute mascot we are all very happy with.
I thought the designer adjusted very well during the contest. I was originally going with another design. But he must have noticed I like the sword and shield feel to the logo design and he was able to make an adjustment that made his design my favorite.

Virallatas is a subscription e-commerce service for pet goods. We will operate in Brazil and Latam. Our customers pay a monthly fee and receive each month a box containing awesome treats, toys and grooming products to their loved pets. We are targeting people who love their pets and treat them as family members and want them to be spoiled. We curate all the products we deliver and are always searching for novelty for our customers (human and animal) to experience. Virallatas means "mongrel pet"or "mutt", the word refers basically to dogs and cats that have mixed breeds.

Virallatas is not the formal way of spelling. The formal in portugues is "vita-latas". We chose "Virallatas" because we wanted to put some style on the word, for we know that for pet owners (parents!) it really doesn't matter if their pet is a pure breed or not. They love them as part of the family and want them to have the best and be very happy and healthy! The brand has to be playfull yet trustful.
