Who are you known as?
Stoney Creek Wine Press
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Stoney Creek has been in business for nearly 20 years and is a leader in the industry.
This is the first of three logo design contests we will be holding for three websites offering similar products. A fourth contest will be held to create Home Pages and frequent future contests will be held for label designs. Get on our favorite designer list early. Top contenders will be invited back to compete in future contests.
We design, print, and sell custom wine labels to wineries, hobbyists, companies, and individuals, primarily in the US and Canada through our website. We offer wine label templates as well as design and printing services. We also sell custom labeled wine direct to consumers in the US, through a sister website.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Our current logo developed 15 years ago when we were very much a small company crafting a fine quality product for distribution in our local community here in BC. We are now far more high tech and have morphed into an e-commerce business with global distribution of product and 95% of our sales are in the US. Despite this expansion, we are 100% committed to providing exemplary, highly personalized customer service. So big....but personal would be the message we are trying to convey. Big enough to get the job done quickly at a good price, but without forfeiting customer care and quality.
Our target audience is very mixed, split almost evenly by gender, tending towards over 30 rather than under, spread all over the USA, technologically savvy and unafraid of online purchasing.
Our original tag line was/is "Purveyors of Distinctive Wine Labels". This harkens back to our crafty origins but could probably do with an update. Something simpler.
