Partnering with public facilities to reduce energy use
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
With the STEP (Savings Through Efficient Products) program, qualified public facilities can receive free energy-saving products, such as LED exit signs, green kitchen nozzles, power strips, CFLs and low-flow aerators. The measures and audit are free and facilities are only responsible for timely and accurate installation. Installation of these simple energy efficient measures can result in substantial environmental benefits as well as savings on your school’s utility bill, reducing your operating costs.
This program is administered by the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance - a non-profit working to advance energy efficiency throughout the Midwest.
Target audience: Public Facilities (public schools and park districts)
