We awarded a winning design to yohpej in Jan 2014. Yohpej initial designs made it clear to us that he thoroughly understood our brief. Although other designers provided a large number of different designs, recognizing that we liked his initial design Yohpej stuck with it and made small adjustments based on our comments, ultimately producing the final winning design. Working with Yohpej was easy and his response was always quick and accurate.
Excellent designer. Made prompt changes and exceeded our expectations. Will continue to use in the future.
A gentleman to deal with and a great result.

Spinnaker will be software for dental practices. It will be a product of our current brand Dental IT Ltd (http://www.dentalit.ltd.uk) so needs to work with that and not clash with it. The software will be open source, so I imagine a look that is modern, clean, and suggests freedom! Classy and elegant. No teeth please, or anything cheesy like that; no particular reference to dentistry is required or necessary (though not prohibited!). I imagined a stylised logo of a spinnaker (3D or flat?) with or without a boat/sea, but I am not wedded to this and interested in other ideas.
The logo needs to be fairly clear and simple, as (at least the symbol part of it if not the name) needs to reduce to a rather small size within the software. It will also be a desktop icon, so needs to fit with that format. It will need to shrink down to as small as 32x32 and still be a recognisable shape. Ideally please supply artwork that has both the high res and low res look.
