Redlink.com is to be a new sales management and analytics tool targeted at the 2,500 publishers of scholarly journals. As journals have moved online and libraries have come under budget pressure, keeping track of which researchers are reading which articles in which journals is a critical job for publishers. Our analytic and account management tool, Sales Manager, makes that happen.
Scientific, Technical, and Medical publishers. These folks sell to academic libraries, so we are using scholars built around red. For now, use this palette here: http://goo.gl/L0WFp.
-- Clean and simple (does anyone NOT want “clean and simple”?).
Think about logos for top brands like Nike, Apple, Amazon, etc.
-- Consistent with science, technology, medicine. See the attached rough wireframe of a website to get the idea.
-- Red or on a red background. Needs to look great in a single color. Logo will go on the website, business cards, and on charts that users download.
-- Logo should contain the word “RedLink” and be appropriate for Twitter and other social media sites.
-- Avatar should be appropriate size for use on Twitter and other social media sites. Final deliverables should include original vector file and JPG files for immediate use.
