I want the look and feel of the font to be clean, clear and modern.
It must communicate friendliness, approachability BUT must not be feminine or masculine. Like the Apple logo concept, it must sit between masculine and feminine and be able to be translated to both.
I dont like curly wurly fonts and I just want something simple and clean. I attach examples of look and feel and fonts I like. I absolutely love http://www.jamieoliver.com - such a brilliant website (for me)
My target audience is aged 32-48 professional men, women and couples. I will have separate micro sites for men, women and couples so the logo must translate across sexes. The people are all English speaking from US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Education is higher education - professionals.
They are probably the iPhone generation - they own mobile phones with apps, they drink capuccinos.
I would like to know exactly what font you used so I may purchase it too.
The successful designer I will probably ask to do lots of ad hoc design work for me. I am looking for a designer I can work with on brochures, web, business cards etc. so may the best person win :)
