Small start-up craft brewery. We produce quality craft beer for the local southern California market. Our emphasis is Quality and Satisfaction.

We are a small start-up. It is imperative that the logo communicates quality and our local market.
We would like the logo, which will be used on all of our bottling, packaging, and kegs, to include somethings that are local to our area and market.
Laguna Beach, CA is known for being an artsy beach colony and that is what we want to communicate to our customers. However, we want to liven that image up with the iconic main beach vibe. Nowadays there are many bars and lots of nightlife in Laguna on the weekends. It is a hip and happening place with a great history and artistic, creative vibe. That is the essence of what our logo will hopefully communicate to our customers. Young, Hip, Classic, Quality, Creativity.
Beyond that I would like to leave the rest up to you designers and see what comes out of this.
I originally had my mind set on something reminiscent of 1950s and 60s advertising styles but I am open to anything that follows and is the essence of what we hope will be an iconic brewery known for quality and craftsmanship located in a hip vibrant artistic beach community.
Lastly, if it is at all possible I would like to incorporate royal blue into the design color somewhere. Also, if possible, I would like to incorporate some masonic imagery into the Logo. Nothing resembling the square and compass but perhaps small hints at our owners' fraternal ties.

Thanks to all of you, and we plan on working with the winner of this contest in the future to make modifications to the logo/beer label emblem for upcoming seasonal and limited edition brews.
