Don't take my word for it, check out Qien's former contests. An outstanding designer able to take a relatively nuanced site concept like American politics and capture the exact sentiment I was after. He is (they are) very easy to communicate with, reads every letter of the contest details I provided, makes multiple requested edits and even provides additional concepts (like what a business card or branded envelope would look like) that I hadn't even considered. I'd use this designer again in a split second.

The Internet Voice (The Internets first Super PAC)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a US Federally registered 527 Political Action Committee (Super PAC) that advocates for the interests of the anonymous Internet. This nonprofit was founded as a result of the near miss SOPA / PIPA legislation that threatened to censor and potentially "break" the Internet.

We are veteran geeks but need design help. Big media may have been shocked by our recent "win" in defeating SOPA, but we "lost" in a sense because it took big Internet companies to initiate a blackout to bring our message to the general public. Once the general public was aware of the issue, congress acted. Now that the debate is mostly over in the US, engineers and Internet people have gone back to their IDEs and webfarms while the MPAA is continuing to run TV advertising that the non-geek public sees. So... theinternetvoice.org is intended to influence public opinion on issues that matter to the Internet without having to wait for Google or Wikipedia to initiate something on our behalf. We will focus on issues that *YOU*, the Internet, tells us are most important to you. We will accept TV advertising screenplays, print advertising, and web advertising from the public; have those screenplays publicly critiqued and edited, and have nationwide advertising campaigns funded, solely, from online donations. We see this as the next step in the social web -- consolidating our strength and moving into the non-technical world of normal people. This is the vision of The Internet Voice and should hopefully provide some insight for you during logo design. We need a site too, but the logo is all I can afford for now.
