Awesome job. bejo_88 provided many creative concepts and was very responsive to requested changes. I am very pleased with the way my logo turned out and this was a very good experience with my first design contest.
Good Work. I like his logo design.

Who are you known as?
Inflammation and Remodeling
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a large department within a biotechnology company that is developing drugs to treat diseases associated with innate immunity and tissue remodeling.
We have recently revealed a new logo for our department. Our logo was met with disapproval as it was very unclear what the image of the logo represents. The logo is supposed to represent a biological tissue undergoing remodeling
Please refer to the attached logo.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

The logo shouldn't be too complex and the design should reflect something that is easily associated with tissue remodeling and/or innate immunity.
As a reference were are actively working on diseases of the lung (Asthma and COPD) and chronic diseases of the kidney, but don't necessarily have to incorporate aspects of those into the design. The design should be broad in scope to the remodeling or immune components.
Tissue remodeling is the process reorganization or renovation of a tissue particularly after injury. Through the process of healing the tissue remodels to remove damaged tissue and replace it with healthy tissue
Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Innate…une_system for a description on innate immunity. The innate immune system is known as non-specific immune system and is the first line of defense to protect the body from infection or damage. One of the main cell types are macrophages which are immune cells that engulf or “eat” damaged cells.
We are looking for a logo that would be easily associated with our group and distinct from other departments logos containing one of the following images: DNA molecule, antibody, virus, cancer cell or heart. We are looking only to replace the image in the attached logo. The caption Immunity & Remodeling are to remain as is. The new image should be able to simply replace the circle in the current design.
