Business & Consulting
We are in the business of building businesses. We mainly work with small businesses but also do work with 3-10 employee firms. We both give business coaching and marketing advice, as well as set up web-based client databases that allow businesses to automatically interact with their customers. Using our business knowledge and marketing practices, as well as automated email sequences and data capturing web sign-up forms, our clients are able to foster lasting relationships with their customers automatically in the background of their normal day-to-day business operations, resulting in more frequent and higher-value sales, and increased customer loyalty. Thanks
Logo types to explore
Please note we will need the following file formats for our logo: .ai .eps .psd .cdr .png .jpg If you have any others, all the better, but these are what we need at minimum. Also, please have the picture of the logo itself as a SEPARATE file. We want a picture only file, as well as any picture and text together files. ___________________________________________________ UPDATE 2: Hello everyone, We really enjoyed your work with the wind up toy idea. We have decided we want to go with a more classic character, and have chosen Hermes to represent our company. Please see the photo attached to this brief labeled Hermes.jpg to see the image we would like made into a logo. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING: In the logo, we want to make sure four things are present: 1) Hermes' winged boots 2) Hermes' winged helmet 3) Hermes' pouch on his belt (you can see it if you look closely on his waist) 4) We want to replace his wand with a wind-up key (ie. The object you twist on the back of a wind up toy to make it move... we have added a picture attached to this brief as an example). Please place the wind up key in his left hand, rather than his right hand, so that it appears to be out in front of him. Try different styles, with the key far out in front, or the key being held so it crosses over his chest. We would like to see both. Try different styles of the wind up key. Make it plain metal like in the "Wind up key.jpg" photo, and try out a more styled version like in "Styled wind up key.jpg" to match his original wand (perhaps add the serpents, wings, etc. somehow, so that the wind up key still looks like it could have been his original wand). This character should indeed look like Hermes in the photo, not a robot/toy since we want to convey the fact that our company connects people (and seeing a human figure in the logo would make more sense in this case than a robot). Keep in mind that he should be kept sprinting as you see in the picture, as we want to convey motion. Keep his chest facing out of the screen as it is in the photo, as we feel it is a more inviting, friendly angle than it would be if his chest was facing into the screen. Make sure to convey motion in the logo. ____________________________________________________________________ UPDATE: Alright, I've realized that my instructions have been vague, as I've been trying to leave the contest open to various creative ideas. However, I've come upon a picture that I'd like you to create a similar logo from. I'd like to try this out and see where it goes. Hopefully, this increased specificity helps you out, as you can simply apply your design style to it as opposed to wondering what image I might want. http://download.xbox.com/content/images/00001000-6f12-52d3-c2fc-044f58410b45/1033/thumblg.png This image is shown at the bottom of this brief. The character you see is a wind up sort of robotic soldier. In the logo, I'd like the wind up knob present, as it symbolizes "automation" for us. Also, I would like the character in motion, because our company helps other companies "run" their business... so we thought a running character might work. Play around with the character itself. Here you see it in robotic armor, and that would be great to see, but of course we don't want an exact copy of the picture shown. Use it for inspiration. ________________________________________________________________________ We would like something that includes an image, character, etc. (non-text) that we can use independent of the name "InBiznez". We would also like the name InBiznez added to the logo so that we can use the two elements together in larger publications, but we want a logo that can stand on its own with no text for when the need arises. As such, text should not be incorporated into the image section of the logo itself, unless it is located in such a way that it can be easily removed without compromising the rest of the logo's identifiability. Please show both with and without text versions. The pictorial mark itself should not have any text in it. The only text of the logo should be the name InBiznez which should be stylized as shown, with an uppercase "I" and "B". However, remember, that it is a pictorial mark logo we are looking for, and the name text should be separate and not at all the focus of the logo. The pictorial mark should be able to stand on its own as a logo completely independently of the name. Feel free to play around with how you create a logo that can also fit with a text name, as well as the colors, and image/picture itself. We have our thoughts posted here to spur thoughts on of what we are fond of, but we are open to creative insight. It would be great to see logos in the style we suggest, as well as some completely different, with your notes to spark our interest about a new message you think the logo conveys with different styling/color/imagery.Our company helps build businesses. We hope to do so in many different ways, but for the purposes of our logo, how we do this doesn't matter. What does matter is the emphasis on building businesses. While we still want a unique logo and would like to avoid those that could just as easily be passed off for a construction company, think about a picture that would symbolize business being built, as opposed to our previous instructions of coming up with a picture that simply represents business as a whole. Another word that comes to mind when we think of our business is "automation". We'd like to see some designs that demonstrate things happening automatically. To let us know you have read this brief (as we are getting many submissions that obviously haven't), please draw the number "7" on the bottom right corner of all of your submissions. Do not make it integrated with the logo itself, as we will not want it in the final design. This is simply a test to see who is actually paying attention to our instructions, as these are the people we want to work with. We really like the Firefox logo for color balance as well as styling; it is a picture, not cluttered, but not too simple either, and the slight 3D and gradient effects while not being too complicated appeals to us. An appealing color ratio would be 40%, 40%, 20%. Black should not be the primary color, but could be more than only a line/accent color here and there. Feel free to show us images you think depict business, businesses building, helping others through service, building relationships, getting things done, making decisions, and taking action. However, please avoid generic images such as people wearing suits, bar graphs/stock graphs/jagged upward stock growth arrows, buildings, globes, puzzle pieces, etc. We want something unique.

This is the second time we have worked with Dorarpol on a project, and all we can say is WOW! Their eye for design is superb. You won't be disappointed at all if you select this graphic designer. Thoroughly impressed! Not only do they have an eye for world-class design, but the product is exceptional, and they work fast. Highly recommend this artist! We will be working with them again on other projects.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
