Create the next logo for Elijah Radio

Christian talk radio. Preparing listeners for the return of Jesus Christ by broadcasting Bible-based messages on prophecy, health, Christian living, etc. Hope for a dying world!

We would like a symbol with the large words, "Elijah Radio". We think of Elijah as a rough, strong man bringing a bold message to help people, not a wild-eyed guy in a white robe on a street corner. So strong earth-tones could be good, maybe with a rough look. We want an obvious Christian symbol (cross, Bible, etc.) and a more subtle graphic indicating broadcasting. Our target audience is broad--English speaking adults--but we want the logo to not look "mature" or "old fashioned", so target 30 year-olds. Our name comes from Malachi 4:5, "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes." Thanks! UPDATE: We like these colors: black, brown, tan, maroon, slate blue, grey, etc. Although don't feel bound by these. Gradient colors look good.
