Create the next logo for doggy doula

We are dog trainers that prepare parents and their dogs for their baby, toddler and beyond. We are looking to raise awareness to the strained dog-child relationship as it currently stands. 50% of all children at bit by a dog by the age of 12. Our services aim to educate parents on how to raise children and dogs safely together.

I have attached some logos that I like. I do NOT want a cheesy/cutesie/cartoon like pet logo. This service is aimed at NYC parents - high end, serious content (but our marketing needs to be fun and high end) 1. NYC clientele: savvy, upscale, educated and design oriented- not into typical pet cheese! : ) Boutique/Luxury/Best of - They want to go to "the best" most elite provider (eye roll, but that's the truth). I am thinking the audience may be a bit more female based. Overall design feel: The design should be simple, modern, tasteful with a botutique feel and some playfulness. Dogs and kids are fun (but not cheesy!). Ideas/example: www.trixieandpeanut.com - cool modern dog shop www.the dogdaily.com - good use of simple font and silhouette www.liamjperkfoundation.org - Liam J Perk example attached logo where dog, parent and child are featured together is nice statement in what we are doing. www.righthanddoula.com www.appleseedsny - marketing to same audience - parents. www.dogsandstorks.com - this is a nat'l service addressing same issue. See imagery to incorporate dog and child - i want something more modern and fun. Websites or logos to look at are attached: 1. I really like the font of the righthanddoula and appleseedsny.com logo and overall simplicity of the logo - simple and clean with modern edge - all lower case 2. The rest of the photos I have attached as examples related to the overall industry/space. Tagline: "Preparing you and your dog for your birth, baby and beyond" Ideas: Parent, child and dog on top of emblem shape w/ simple font doggy doula underneath Incorporating vector silhouettes of dog or child into the font doggy doula. Creating a bone shaped emblem and use tagline. Check out the bone emblem I used attached in the comments section. WE ARE: Upscale, Serious Content - but we're fun and not boring!
