Robotics Workshops For Parents and Children (we are not 100% sure if we want this slogan incorporated or not)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We run Robot Springboard (http://www.robotspringboard.org) which is a non profit organization to help teach and run robotics programs for kids in underserved communities. We have now developed a robotics workshop for parents and children (grades kindergarten through 3rd) to take together which we are calling "BrightStart Robotics". We came up with this concept in response to requests from families. Our "normal" robotics workshops are weeklong programs for middle school children. (We try to hold them in underserved/underrepresented communities). Often when parents would bring their middle school children by they would tell us that they "wished we had something like this for a younger sibling". A full week of robotics is way too much for a 5 to 8 year old but we've come up with a really fun 90 minute robotics workshop for parents and very young children - BrightStart Robotics. We want BrightStart Robotics to have a very separate/different logo and look from the robot springboard logo (we probably need to re-do the robot springboard logo anyhow as it is not all that good but we did it ourselves - we know the colors on it are too busy but it was sort of an inside homage to the primary colors of the "google" logo.

We are a small non-profit organization run by teenagers. We appreciate your help.
One idea we had for the logo would be to incorporate a star which traveled from the "i' in bright to the "i" in robotics - but we also thought some other types of logos might look better. As much as we might like doodling, we're robotics geeks not designers and so we will leave this up to you.
