The company will be doing stock research and selling analysis on the stock market. Target audience is 40-70 years old and middle class to affluent. We would like the logo to have a vintage, trusted, respectable high-end feel.

The name Blue Tick Research is a play on the term "blue chip" which refers to large cap stock investments. It also represents a blue tick hound which sort of "hunts out" the best investment ideas. We are open to the idea of using a blue tick hounddog in the logo IF it still has a nostalgic, classy feel. The biggest thing is that the logo should feel classic, refined, clean and authoritative.
