jsuwo got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create the next logo for the Bit By Bit Computer Camp

Computer Camp (would like to see logos both with and without the text "Computer Camp").
We are the Department of Computer Science at Western University. We operate a summer computer camp for children aged 8-15 called Bit By Bit. Children come for a week at a time (just a day camp) to learn basic computer programming, game programming, robotics (using LEGO Mindstorms), graphics with PhotoShop, etc. We're designing a new web site for our camp, and want a fresh, cool logo. The logo will be used on the site, but also on t-shirts that are provided to the campers. We would like our logo to convey "fun", "cool", and "hi-tech".
Logo types to explore
Our camp aims to teach kids real-world computing skills and get them excited about a possible future in computing. We would like our logo to convey "fun", "cool", and "hi-tech". Elements that could be included: a robot? Some representation of bits (either 1's and 0's, or perhaps blocks)? A computer? Something else? Your creativity is welcome and invited!
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
jsuwo collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
