Light Tribe Media is a video production company focusing on commercial type videos for the web and eventually broadcast TV. The company will also look to produce television series and documentaries. The style will be cinematic, slick, inspiring, and innovative. Working tagline: Using light to bring light into the world.

I am using the word "Light" in the company name to convey 2 ideas: 1) We use light to create cinematic imagery in our video productions 2) We will use the medium of video to bring "light" into the world...meaning we will aim to focus on meaningful projects that inspire goodness in the world. The term "Tribe" refers to the company atmosphere that we are trying to create. We are a "tribe" of filmmakers who love making films, and we want our clients to have their own tribe following them based on the videos we create. Media refers to the general field of video in which we will work.

C monogram logo for visual effects company

I love creating unique monograms so used this approach for Colony Visual Effects. As company is working on visual effects and making impossible stuff, possible, I decided to play with C, made with Escher-esque approach creating bending letter with impossible geometry theme. It works really great with subtle gradient giving this effect another dimension, but it works really great in single color as well. I took extra effort and created couple mockups showing this design used in various situations and in the end payed of.
