Gingerandbread got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a modern logo for a baking blog, reflecting its focus on Continental breads and patisserie.

Food & Drink
I am running a food blog specialising in German and Austrian bakery; my audience enjoys watching the Great British Bake Off and has a lot of readers who share my interest in craft bakery, such as sourdough breads, as well as classic continental patisserie. I'd like the design to reflect my German heritage (no pink cupcakes or frills) as well as the 'craft' aspect. I have been looking at pen and ink drawings, such as the sausage in the logo of a similar website (see below), as part of the logo, and I am looking to use a white background.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Let designers make suggestions:
I like a clear design, not too frilly or pastel-coloured, preferably with a reference to baking. Images I have been considering are a brezel, bread, a bundt cake or gingerbread men.
