Create a logo for a Trust and Estate law firm

I am looking for an abstract logo for my firm but something beyond the standard scales. I work with young families and retired people, so I would like something that appeals to everyone. Here is a little more about my firm. Hopefully the additional info is useful. I write Wills and other documents people need when they die. I also write documents that people need when they are alive but can't act on their own anymore, like if they are in a coma or have dementia. Lots of Trust and Estate firm work kind of like a mill in that a client comes in, tells the firm about themself and the firm then fits them into a standard estate plan. I work hard to be my client's partner and create a custom estate plan for them. It is also really important to me that my clients feel comfortable during the whole process (talking about death isn't easy), so I try to meet with them in their own homes after standard business hours so they don't have to take time off work.

I'd like to explore the following colors: Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty. Let designers make suggestions: Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.

The firm is in Denver Colorado and serves the surrounding metro area. Additionally, we offer consultations in client homes after regular business hours.
