Who are you known as?
Fabrics of Africa
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Fabrics of Africa is a brand that is dedicated to fair trade, sustainability and supporting the small local cotton farmers of Africa. Through initiatives like "Cotton made in Africa" (CmiA) the farmers are paid a fair price and the cotton agriculture is done in a sustainable way, avoiding the use of pesticides and using only natural irrigation. With this cotton, we make beautiful traditional african kikoys, a large colourful scarf that can be used in many different ways. We also offer accessories like purses, ties and bowties, laptop and smartphone sleeves and shoulder bags. Everything has a youthful and colourful flare to it, and at the same time every purchase is supporting the development of small cotton farmers and sustainable agriculture, as well as the women who sew the final fabrics together to make our products.
The logo should capture these values. It should have a feel of earthy sustainability. It should include the writing "Fabrics of Africa". It could also include the african continent, but this is not a must. It should not have too much fine detail as the logo will be printed onto fabric labels and attached to the product.
