ST-MAARTEN.COM is an online portal featuring the Caribbean island of St. Maarten/St. Martin. 60% of users are cruise ship passengers, 40% hotel guests.
We switch over from being an advertising driven information media to also offering booking solutions. Target audience are travelers planning a Caribbean vacation.
We just signed an exclusive marketing partnership with SOTHEBY'S - stmartinsothebysrealty.com - a world-wide leader in luxury real estate and villa rentals. The new look of ST-MAARTEN.COM must appeal to the upscale clientele we need to attract.

This is the URL: st-maarten.com. Get a feel for the task by checking images on the site. The island is vibrant, extremely (!) multi-cultural. But we suffer from a dominance of timeshare resorts, whose members are advancing in age. We need to attract a younger target audience. The recent SXMusic Festival with DJs from around the world attracted about 2,000 tourists to come to the island. http://sxmusicfestival.com/
The market we need to reach is affluent and we need to change the site's appearance to appeal more to an audience who appreciates top-brands in fashion and can afford the 'finer things in life'. St. Maarten/St. Martin is not a budget destination, yet not as snobby and expensive as our neighbor St. Barths.
