Create a logo for a race track that will be recognizable, bright and noticeable

We are taking over a stock car race track and rebranding and switching the name. We will be racing on a clay/dirt surface. Our target audience is families as well as males. We want to be known as northern ontarios premier race track.

We are located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and at the centre of the great lakes. That is the reason for the name of the race track. We want a logo that will stick out and that is the reason why we chose the colours we selected. Do not be afraid to venture out and put different colours in that we have suggested. One thing I would mention is somehow incorporating Lake Superior into the logo. that is just an idea so I do not need every logo looking like lake superior.
