USPRA is the association for the development, support, and dissemination of information about the practice of psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery. USPRA members include agencies, practitioners, families and persons living with psychiatric disabilities, leaders in psychiatric rehabilitation education and research from major universities across the United States and the world, as well as state and federal government entities dedicated to improving outcomes in a cost-effective, evidenced-based and highly successful model.
The primary mission of the organization is to advance the availability and practice of psychiatric rehabilitation so that all individuals with a serious mental illness have access to the supports they need to recover. Members join for continuing professional education opportunities, certifications, networking, advocacy, and research/current trends.
This logo is part of a branding effort to contemporize the organization’s logo while establishing a look and feel that better represents the breadth and depth of USPRA’s members. The logo should be aspirational for prospective and new members (both individuals and organizations) and demonstrate the strength of the psychiatric rehabilitation community within society. Words used to describe the organization include professional, passionate, inspirational, determined, collaborative, innovative, diverse, empowering, representing, training, strong, hope, self-determination and community.
