Create a logo for a new kind of pharmaceutical company!

Recursion Pharmaceuticals

We have developed a platform technology that enables discovery of new drugs (and new uses for known drugs) at an unprecedented rate.
We use images of millions of cells, automation (robots), and computer algorithms, to make this possible.
Our target audience will be other pharmaceutical companies and patient groups representing various rare diseases.

We are a new kind of pharmaceutical company. We focus on efficient discovery, re-use of drugs, and finding cures for diseases that few other pharma companies care about. We want this logo to communicate our fresh, young, exuberant style. At the same time, it is important that we appear serious and stable.

In the attached files, I've included a random selection of images related to what we work on.  Also, note that the name recursion comes from the idea of recursive equations, fractals, etc...  We will be identifying simplicity among complexity, and repeating over and over again..  Also, we are a spin-out from the University of Utah, so I have included their logo.  We don't want to do anything that looks too similar, but just as an FYI, a design that has some similarities would not be bad.
