We want an emblem as part of the logo - in a way is will be unnatural to use the logo text without the emblem. Possibly merge them into one. To make it easy to use on paper, website header etc, we think a landscape-logo (more width then hight). If you have a good idea that isnt according to our description, feel free to suggest. You are the designer and know what's best.

Pioneer Home Solutions
Pioneer Home Solutions is transitioning its business to selling and installing high-end premium roofing and exterior products for homes My proposal is a wordmark with a symbol integrated into the name, that can be used as stand-alone for specific applications (i.e. website favicon, business cards, etc.) The letter O in Pioneer is intuitive since there is only half of it, the other half was replaced with a roof. I added a small window there so this small window and the half of the O, looks like a smile, wink, which is a friendly gesture like he says "hello" The logo is clean, suggestive, friendly, fun, and memorable: *a smiling roof.* 😉 The execution is based on the golden ratio as can be seen on the bottom.
