We publish a guide to help people find the best hotel for their needs. We are an exceedingly ethical company whose top concern is doing well by our customers and helping them from start to finish.

Hi! We are looking for a clean, modern logo on a white background. Our company publishes an online hotel guide, and our logo should read "Hotel Guides" with the tag line "Reservations Made Easy." We are looking for a logo with a layout that is similar to Trip Advisor's. We do not want to duplicate Trip Advisor's logo in any way; we only mention it to give an illustration of where we would like the specific elements to be located. We would like an icon on the left with our name in large letters on the right. We would also like the two words of our name to each be a different color -- one red and one blue. Unlike Trip Advisor, we would like our logo to include a tagline -- "Reservations Made Easy." This tagline should tuck under the name "Hotel Guides." Important: When the logo is reduced to 100 pixels high, the tagline must be easily readable. The icon we want is a hotel. It should not look too much like a skyscraper or too much like a house. It really needs to say "hotel." We are not interested in logos that appear old-fashioned, cartoon-ish, rustic, or overly playful. Our entire site is undergoing a massive transformation so please do not let the current version influence you at all. Our new site will be light, modern, and clean. One final note -- we really want something special, not something bland or amateurish. Please look at our examples.gif attachment to get an idea of national logos we like. We don't want to steal from anyone, but hopefully these will offer some inspiration. We are very excited about this contest. Thank you for your designs!
