The Financial Rhino Chaser (FRC) is the personal branding for Michael Whitehead. He works as a fee-only financial advisor delivering financial planning and asset management services to high performing individuals and businesses. FRC will be a blog and the branding will extend into social media space The target audience for the blog are 40-55 year olds. They are typically male (though not all), risk takers and used to working in high presusure, eat-what-you-kill, environments. They also typically enjoy intensity. They aren't afraid to dream, which requires courage.
Logo types to explore
The term "Rhino chaser" is a slang term for a big wave surfboard. A full explanation can be found here on pages 45 and 46: http://books.google.com/books?id=SOQGLxkrmiwC&pg=PA46&lpg=PA46&dq=rhino So the idea here is that we are appealing to people willing to go after life's big waves (dreams). This is not necessarily money, but big ideas. Ideally the logo would incorporate a head on view of a rhino, the top of the rhino's horn would also be the top of a surfboard perhaps through negative space. I am looking for more of an image, not the actual words "financial rhino chaser" (although I would like that in the image). I will attach a simple sketch (don't laugh!) of what I'm talking about. It could be a full body shot of a rhino,head on, I have attached an logo from another company using the rhino chaser theme (not to copy in any way, but to give you an idea of the head on rhino). My company website is at http://www.hwwealth.com, but we will be launching a new branded domain after the logo is complete.
