She was really great to work with and made changes quickly. She gave us lots of options, which was helpful.

Super quick turn around on a color change for a logo he created for me in April. Very helpful!
This design met the brief very well and conveyed the modern look we were seeking. The designer provided a number of variations to help us to decide on the final logo and responded quickly to requests for amendments.
How Ali and Andy started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Down to Earth Eats
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The logo is for a website called Down to Earth Eats about doing the Paleo diet for regular people. The about page is here with a description of the site and its beliefs: http://downtoeartheats.com/about/
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We need a logo for the site that can be used in a header, but also that can be simplified to single colors or even black and white for use as watermarks or other branding. Stylistically, definitely graphical and clean. Not into photorealistic or "artsy" or overly cartoon-like. The site is about simplifying food, so the logo can't be too complex.
We like logos that can be square-ish and fit into the top of a sidebar rather than super wide "header logos".
Forks/spoons as well as pots/pans are overdone motifs in the niche.
It isn't a vegetarian site, so although ok to have something primarily vegetable it shouldn't seem like we don't do meat.
Attached inspiration from web searches:
The simplicity of the meat logos. The swooping lines of the middle one is interesting, though perhaps too abstract. The idea of something in the "ground" is nice, though that particular one is too complex.
