Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a boutique production company out of New York City that creates and markets original video trailers/commercials for new fiction and nonfiction books. Our clients consist of predominantly publishing houses and authors. These trailers would be disseminated on the internet via sites like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and private blogs.

To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We want to communicate a contemporary, edgy, and lively quality--nothing too cute. As we are a creative team, we'd like the logo to cleverly (and subtly) combine the meaning of the term "dog ear" (marking an important part of a book) with a literal dog-like shape. Our audience is the publishing industry, so we want to demonstrate both a modern, tech-savvy quality, as well as a capacity for creative, outside-the-box thinking. We would like the logo to combine a pictorial icon with the words "Dog Ear Creative." Designers can visit our beta website at http://www.dogearcreative.com to get a feel for the look we're going for.
