Uniting Makers to Heal the World!
Medical & Pharmaceutical
Med Makers is a new community created by Stanford Medicine X (http://medicinex.stanford.edu) of likeminded problem solvers and solution makers. We embrace all healthcare stakeholders (healthcare professionals, medical educators, patients) and pledge to create a safe place for them to be part of our community and share their problems and dreams for a better healthcare world. Our job is to unite healthcare stakeholders with those who might help create and birth solutions to their problems (makers, 3D imagers, 3D printers, scientists, researchers, technologists, engineers). We believe in the open source maker movement and seek those who see potential for bringing that power to innovate solutions in medicine and healthcare. We believe in a community that embraces all stakeholders and creates a safe place for those who have problems to work with solution makers. We believe the “making” process involves everyone. We want to unite Makers to heal the world! This logo will be associated with the Stanford Medicine X (http://medicinex.stanford.edu) Brand (for more information about the Maker movement, go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maker_movement and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maker_culture)
