joannemc000 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a logo with a colourful parrot for Rosella Occupational Therapy (a health provider)

Medical & Pharmaceutical
We provide a health service to older people ('occupational therapy') in their own homes to improve their quality of life, in our local area. Our health service is not medication and medical treatments, it is around physical aids like walking sticks, and psychological interventions.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Purples: Imagination, spirituality, royalty and luxury. Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty. Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
I would like either a literal image or more abstract representation of an Australian Eastern Rosella (parrot) flying away, on a white background in my logo. I am interested in bold colours, but not sure whether the bird should have a single shade of each of the key colours, or a variety of shades within colours – whatever looks best. The attached image shows the colours, which are very important to replicate as they appear on the actual bird. I am interested in seeing how the image looks in various sophisticated styles - as a watercolour abstract, line drawing, etc. I would like the words to be in one colour, simple font. I would like the logo to be squarish in shape – rectangular is OK so long as it’s not very elongated. I would also like a black and white version of this logo (to use on letterheads) as well as a full colour version. I intend to use this image on a business card and printed brochures, and on my website. The image may be used on its own without the words on some marketing materials.

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
joannemc000 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
The designer understood the brief well and I did provide my own brand colours and samples of my previous logo for context. The designer produced several creative designs that captured the essence of what I needed. The final design has provided me with a very good logo and mark to represent a brand that includes both change management and health coaching. Highly recommend this designer as they are creative, pay attention to detail, responsive and have a great attitude to feedback.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
