We have a strong brand in Castrol, but we are looking for something specific to the Baton Rouge production facility - the largest in the global network. We would like "Excellence" incorporated in some way. This will be used to rally the team (approximately 120), provide an opportunity for our employees to exhibit pride in the Baton Rouge facility and also be a statement about our commitment to excellence. Baton Rouge can be shortened to BTR, if needed. We were initially fond of a crest, but please don't let that inhibit your creativity! We like the idea of a coat of arms to showcase what we work hard for: safety, quality, and our people. Coat of arms objects could be an oil can, hard hat, ribbon/award, clog gears, lab beaker, or even some local flavor such as crawfish. A new school feel for the vintage Castrol look would be nice as well.

Client was looking to redesign his logo based on simple water drop lineart, due to scaling problems. Keeping the same color and client's font of choice, I came up with this simple and minimalistic design. Location pin made of waves, enveloping water drop in this neat and bold lineart, with just a touch of accent color is straight to the point, scales well and is versatile to be used against different backgrounds, and across the media.

Some letters are realy hard to join in nice monogram and this was such a case. It took me quite a while to came up with this "KIK" initials logo that is also ambigram. Modern and abstract, with earthly colors it is iconic and memorable and will be strong brand carrier.

Bold logo in corporate style for company managing industrial patents

I was inspired by classical corporate style for the mark but with customized high-tech typography, since that was a requirement and logical choice considering the industry branch. If you look at an individual element that forms the mark, it is also an abstraction of hand ("holding" the rights) but the overall shape is interlocked which represents the patents being secured and the whole process taken care of in one place. It also suggests rotational movement (the INNOVATION). The way or style in which this is all shaped is very precise and symmetrical - as technology in fact is.
