Create logo for Action Sports Photographer

David Cervenka Photography

High-end action sports / youth sports photography (baseball, soccer, swim, etc..), but I also shoot aviation, fitness, head shots, team and individual photos, etc.. So I need a logo that transcends multiple genres of photography.

My target audience ranges from parents of local athletes to corporations.

I'm looking for a new logo for my photography business: http://www.DavidCervenka.com    I created the original logo and now I'm looking for something more creativity and unique.

LIKES ----------------------

- Clean, unique, fluid designs.

- A logo that can easily be recognized by itself (without the "David Cervenka Photography) and that appeals to the Action Sports crowd, but also looks clean for the corporate clients

- helvetica neue font (or similar family) - Impress me and show me a font that are cool! 

DISLIKES -----------------

- Scripty / swirly fonts  (those are better for wedding and baby photogs... which I'm not)

- Cliche use of a "camera" icon  - I prefer not to go with the atypical "camera" icon-looking logo as used by other photogs, but if it can be done subtly/abstractly then I'm OK with it.

- Slight variations of "DC" typography that lack creative.. 

USAGE ------------------

- Your design will be used on my website, business cards, t-shirts, and as a watermark on my photos, etc. I'm OK with using multiple color, but my new logo should also look great in just all black or white!
