Food & Drink
Caveman Escapades is a blog that I use to document my adventures in food and cooking. These are some blog posts most in line with where I want to go in the future: http://www.cavemanescapades.com/?p=998 http://www.cavemanescapades.com/?p=729 http://www.cavemanescapades.com/?p=1530 http://www.cavemanescapades.com/?p=695
Logo types to explore
I would like the logo or some part of it, to be squarish and able to be used as a facebook and twitter profile picture. I'm thinking that the design should convey these three things in order of highest to lowest priority: food/cooking, adventure, and caveman/paleo. Here are some possible elements to include: flames, wood, meat, mountains, soil, plants, tools/knifes, etc. Make your own interpretation of the above, but keep in mind that I do not want to alienate female readers. Thoughts regarding the attachment: inspiration for the growth came from a carrot top. http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/70522000/jpg/_70522425_12-vegetable-garden2.jpg Inspiration for the root came from a dandelion root. The cross knives seem to be a common theme in submitted designs. Inspiration for the knives came from http://korin.com/Korin-Ginsan-ko-Yanagi?sc=27&category=8549616 but I also like this knife: http://korin.com/Korin-Ginsan-ko-Kiritsuke?sc=27&category=8549619 I like the texture of the blade of this knife: http://korin.com/Togiharu-Nickel-Damascus-Petty?sc=27&category=5054647
