Attorney & Law
I started my own law practice in March 2009, in Brussels. I am a solo practitioner. (French is my mother tongue - "Avocat" means "Lawyer"). I have developed a practical approach in many areas of ICT Law (e-commerce, privacy, media law, liability of internet intermediaries, domain names, online reputation and digital identity, legal support in the development of various IT projects…) I provide services to corporate clients (small and large companies, start-ups…), as well as to public administrations. Please, visit my website: www.lexconsult.pro.
Other color requirements
Please use the colors of my website (www.lexconsult.pro): 2 basic colors (see files in attachment): - Dark grey-blue: #2a2f37 (values: modernity, creativity, dynamism, transparency) - Blue : #4E78C8 (values: professionalism, efficiency, trustworthiness) Up to you to create new colors, from this two basic colors and white… The following colors have been created for the webiste : - #2B3038 (dark grey-blue, used for the text) - Light blue colors for the menu : #D8E7F8 ; #85B5EA; #F7FAFE - luminous grey for background : #bec8d0 (see page : http://www.lexconsult.pro/droit_des_medias.php - frame « De l’imprimerie au numérique »); - luminous grey for background (lighter variant) : #EBEEF2
The logo should combine 3 distinct elements: (1) Cédric Goblet (2) Avocat (3) ICT The logo should help the relevant public to associate my name with the domain of ICT Law. My first idea is that the acronym / expression “ICT” doesn’t appear in the logo. This information would come from graphic elements, clearly but in a very subtle way… You may also propose logos with the letters “ICT”. I am open to your suggestions… The logo should be available in 3 variants: French, English and Dutch. Concretely, the word “Avocat” may be replaced by “Lawyer” and “Advocaat”. If possible, a 4th variant would include the 3 languages: “Avocat Lawyer Advocaat”. I would like to project a clean and modern image. The values I would like my logo to communicate are: professionalism, efficiency, trustworthiness, tailor-made services, creativity, dynamism, transparency, high-tech, modernity. I don’t want to appear as a conservative or too traditional law firm. I don’t want any mark that relates to the law (scales of justice, court buildings, gavel…), or too obviously to ICT (computer screen, mouse…). The logo should be integrated in the current design of my website : www.lexconsult.pro. Note that (in principle) the expression “Cabinet en droit des technologies de l’information et de la communication” will be suppressed (expression on the right of the current logo). Two suggestions / ideas: - My initials - letters C + G – may be used and combined to create a shape that evokes the information and communication technologies. - My first name and last name contain the letters “ICT” (Cédric Goblet). - The concepts of “information”, “communication” and “technology” could be expressed in an abstract way. For example, information is sometimes symbolized by a point, and communication by waves…Be creative... I would reserve the blue color for details and for specific shapes. I wouldn’t write “Cédric Goblet” or “Avocat” in blue… In general, I notice that I don’t like so much serif fonts…I prefer sans serif… These are logos for law firms that I like: - http://www.djavupixel.com/design/logo/7-excellent-examples-corporate-brand-identity-law-firms/ See logos for J&N, Lipany & Partners and Antony Delaney -http://nautadutilh.com/en/home If you have any questions, just ask! By advance, many thanks for your contributions. Kind regards, Cédric
