I'm after a very simple design that looks hand-written, reflecting the "Notes" part of WeekendNotes, but at the same times looks very professional and polished. Just using a "writing" font is not good enough - it has to look like a custom design - something that could have only been created by a person. Should use the following palette: http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/92095/Giant_Goldfish The design needs to fit into the space occupied by the current logo here: http://www.weekendnotes.com/sydney/ It would also help if the design could also be expanded into a wide version as seen here: http://www.weekendnotes.com/ The current colours used on the site will be altered to fit the new color palette. WeekendNotes is Australia's most popular events website - your design will be seen by literally millions of people. A great opportunity to get your work out there.

C monogram logo for visual effects company

I love creating unique monograms so used this approach for Colony Visual Effects. As company is working on visual effects and making impossible stuff, possible, I decided to play with C, made with Escher-esque approach creating bending letter with impossible geometry theme. It works really great with subtle gradient giving this effect another dimension, but it works really great in single color as well. I took extra effort and created couple mockups showing this design used in various situations and in the end payed of.
