MediTravel International is a medical tourism facilitator providing medical tourism services for Canadians and Americans. Medical tourism involves patients intentionally leaving their home country to access non-emergency health care services abroad. Traditionally, people would travel from less developed countries to major medical centers in highly developed countries for medical treatment that was unavailable in their own communities.
At this time, Meditravel International wants to focus on the following procedures (Orthopedic surgeries (knees and hips replacements), Bariatric surgeries (weight loss surgery), General elective surgeries, Dental procedures
MediTravel International plans to offer the above procedures in: Costa Rica, Cancun, Las Vegas
It is important to note the countries may change in the near future. Indeed, destinations such as Cuba or India might be interesting to consider.
The age, gender and localization of our clients will mainly depend on the procedures and their nationality.
In brief: Well educated Canadians. Used to travel. Middle class, upper middle class. Men and women from 25 to 70 years old / Uninsured or underinsured Americans (USA). Or insured thanks to their job. Low middle class/ middle class. Men and women from 25 to 70 years old
